Different types of FRP membrane housing models:
There are two types of FRP membrane housing models. They are:
- End port
- Side port
End port:
The end port FRP membrane housing model is used for a plant with less than five membranes. So if we send feed water in one direction, wastage, purified water will come from the end side.
Side port:
To make an easy pipe, you need to prefer the side port model as the end port model is complex for large membranes. The side-port membrane housing model is used for plants with more than five membranes. If we send water in one direction, wastage, purified water will come from opposite directions.
How to calculate a number of elements in FRP membrane:
Follow the below procedure to calculate a number of elements in FRP membrane housing:
One element length= 40 inches.
Suppose if we consider 8 inches with five membranes:
The formula for calculating 8 inches with five membranes = 80 after (length (total membranes)).
(40(5)) = 200,
Then we need to place this 200 after 80.
= 80200
Therefore it 80200 model.
Suppose if you observe like 40240 model, then you think like this:
40 after (length (total membranes)
40 after (240)
40 after (40 inches (6 membranes)
Therefore it is 4 inches membrane housing with 6 membranes.
